My name is Anusri Chinni, and I am a current junior at Uplift North Hills Preparatory. I have been in Model UN since Freshman year, and I am super excited to see you guys in this crisis. Throughout the years, CRISIS has always been my favorite room, so I am beyond thrilled to chair it this time. Attached you will find the background guide that contains all the prior information you will need for your research, position paper and to prepare you in general. Read through it thoroughly, and feel free to ask either of us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing what you guys bring to the table!

My name is Trinay Ravella, and it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to this year’s Crisis Event 1 at DAMUN XVI! I am a junior at Uplift North Hills Preparatory, and this is my 2nd year in Model UN. This is my first year chairing a conference, and I am so grateful to have you all be there for this. I know as delegates, you will struggle and stress, and I hope that as chairs, we can help make this as enjoyable an experience as possible for all parties involved.
