My name is Ahil Ahamed, and I have the honor to chair for you all this year. I am extremely excited to welcome you all to the Human Rights Council at DAMUN XVI this year. I am currently in my senior year of high school at Uplift North Hills Preparatory. This will be my second year being a part of Model UN, but also my first year chairing. I am very excited to hear what everyone has to say. Please make sure you all do your research and understand what you will be doing very well, and be prepared. My name is Aafsan Chowdhury, and I am a sophomore at Uplift North Hills Preparatory. I am excited to serve as your Chair for the Human Rights Council at DAMUN XVI this year. This will be my first year as a chair in Model UN, and I look forward to meeting all of you. Before the event, please research the topics listed below.
