International Court of Justice
LETTERS FROM THE CHAIRS
Hello Esteemed Delegates!
Welcome to DAMUN XIV ICJ, my name is Zuhayr Saya! I am a Junior at Uplift North Hills, and I am ecstatic to be one of the co-chairs for this year's International Court of Justice. Model UN has taught me so much about the world around us, and has truly become a community in which I make my favorite memories. This is my first time as a chair, but I am committed to being my very best. I encourage all of the delegates to do the same. Delegates trying to collaborate in the midst of disorder is chaotic and unpredictable for everyone, and I hope we have that in this year's conference . If you have any questions about anything please feel free to email me at Zuhayr.S.08@gmail.com. Make sure to work hard, and bring everything to the conference.

Welcome, delegates, to DAMUN XVI!
My name is Varsha Kumanan, a junior at Uplfit North Hills Preparatory, and I am so thrilled to be a co-chair for DAMUN XVI’s International Court of Justice. I’ve been in Model UN since freshman year, but this is my first year chairing. I’ve learned so much through MUN, and I can’t wait to learn much more at this conference. I am excited to go on this journey with you and learn a lot along the way! Remember, delegates: to speak about any topic, you have to be well-knowledged about it. With that said, research this year’s ICJ topic very well and be prepared to engage in meaningful discussion.
Whether you are an experienced MUN-er or a new delegate, I’m sure we’re going to have a lot of fun debating and arguing this interesting topic. I can’t wait to hear all of your perspectives! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at varshakuman@gmail.com!
I look forward to the thoughtful discussions and diplomacy I hope to see at this conference!,
Varsha Kumanan
