Esteemed Delegates!

Welcome to DAMUN XIV! My name is Sonia Dasgupta and I’m super excited for this year’s conference. I’m currently a sophomore at Uplift North Hills, and this is my second year in Model UN, as well as my first time chairing a conference. Despite my short amount of experience, I have learned many lessons and skills that have greatly aided in my growth as a speaker, listener, and overall person. There will always be something to take away from the experience, whether this be your first or last conference. Do be sure to have your research handy, brush up on parliamentary procedures, and most importantly, have fun! Dear Delegates,

I'm Nikhil Kurella, a senior at UNHP, and I'm excited to be part of Model UN as your chair in Economic and Social Council.  Although this is my first experience in this role, I bring a wealth of experience from my high school career, and I can't wait to dive into this new position. I understand that chairing presents a unique experience within Model UN, but rest assured, I am enthusiastic about making this a fantastic experience for all of us.
