My name is Voshita Parvathaneni, and I will be chairing the WHO Committee at Dallas Area Model United Nations (DAMUN) XIV this year! I will be a senior at Uplift North Hills Preparatory, and I have been an active member and participant of Model UN since my freshman year. This year we'll be having the opportunity to present you with two topics to discuss, debate, and resolve. Dear Delegates,
I hope this letter finds you well, and it is my pleasure to be your chair for this meeting. My name is Deepti Gali, and I am honored to serve as one of the chairs for the World Health Organization (WHO) committee at Dallas Area Model United Nations (DAMUN) XIV this year. Alongside me, Voshita will be joining as a co-chair, and together, we are excited to experience this amazing journey with you all. In the wake of recent global challenges, the role of the WHO in ensuring health equity, public health, and coordinating international responses has become more crucial than ever. As delegates in the WHO committee, we will navigate complex issues, create innovative solutions, and strive to create comprehensive strategies that address the pressing health concerns of our time. Together, we have the opportunity to shape policies, draft resolutions, and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals and communities worldwide.
